Wrangler sales paying off, May record set

It would appear that the Jeep Wrangler is enjoying a rebirth of popularity. The folks at Chrysler are reporting that the Wrangler set an all time sales record in May with 14,454 units sold.

This is great news for Chrysler as they are already in the midst of a sales upswing since ‘reinventing’ themselves over the past eighteen months. With Jeep making aggressive steps to reach markets overseas, and the major refit of several of their production plants here in the US about to begin we could even see a slight surge in new hires (and that is always welcome!)

We will have to see how the Wrangler sales trend carries on over the next few months. Between this and the upcoming refresh of the Grand Cherokee good things are definitely on the horizon for Jeep.
