2012 Ford F-150 recalled due to seat occupancy sensor

Yet another recall for Ford. Hot on the heals of the recall last week for the Expedition and Lincoln Navigator, it would appear that the 2012 F-150 didn’t want to feel left out.

This recall is for the front passenger side seat occupancy sensor not functioning properly in the 2012 Ford F-150 pickup. This error could result in the front passenger side airbag not deploying correctly in the event of a crash, which in turn could seriously injure the passenger. Ford will be replacing the affected sensors free of charge at the nearest dealer. Ford has already begun notifying affected owners, but if you need more information on this issue you can contact your closest Ford dealer or call 1-866-436-7332 for more information.
