We know all you Toyota enthusiasts have been waiting for the 2012 Camry 2012 to be unveiled in the US in a few days from now. The vehicle has been revealed by a French-Canadian magazine and we now have a clear picture of what the vehicle will come with.
The pictures reveal a better interior and infotainment system in the new sedan. Earlier, teasers had told us that the car will boast a new sharp edged tail lamp. This apart, a video footage of the vehicle revealed that the new Camry 2012 would come in three versions – the sport-oriented Camry SE, a range-topping Camry XLE and the eco-friendly Camry Hybrid. The footage showed the Camry XLE in black, the Camry SE in red and the Camry Hybrid in Silver.
The magazine also tells us that the car will come with three different engines. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces a power of 169 hp (126 kW/ 171 PS) and a torque of 167 lb-ft (226 Nm) will be one. This engine will enable the vehicle to accelerate from 0-100 Km/hr in 9.8 seconds before hitting a top speed of 118 mph.
The 2.4-liter four-cylinder Hybrid engine will return an output of 187 hp (139 kW/190 PS) and 199 lb-ft (270 Nm0 torque. The car races from 0-100 Km/hr in 8.9 seconds
Finally, the 3.5-liter V6 produces 268 hp (200 kW/ 272 PS) with a torque of 335 Nm. This engine accelerates the car from 0-100 Km/hour in just 7.2 seconds.
